Dear SVIN Members,

On behalf of the Social Media and Digital Strategy Committee, we are thrilled to present to you “The Core”, SVIN’s official quarterly news magazine!

It has been an honor to have been tasked with the responsibility of resurrecting this publication, Sir Isaac Newton said it best, “if we as a team are able to see farther, it is only because we stood on the shoulders of giants.”

The Core’ success is the result of many years’ hard work; hence I would like to express my sincere appreciation for all those who contributed to The Core in the past. Their genuine efforts and dedication set the stage and allowed us to build on their prior work. Our aim is to build on The Core’s prior success, keeping our content valuable, scientific, interesting, informative, relevant, and educational to the Neurointerventional community as a whole.

The Core relies on SVIN members to generate content. We would like to engage and encourage our SVIN members to be part of The Core network. It’s all about teamwork, so please stay involved and send us your articles, opinion pieces and even cover page artwork that you would like to share with other members! If you have ideas on improving Currents or wish to contribute, please email us at marketing@svin.org.

We would like to thank SVIN’s Board of Directors and all the SVIN members; without you we would not have been able to put this all together.
